October Is Erratic Weather Month...Apparently

Barcelona is a moody b*tch come October (and I can say that because a) I'm here, and b) I have my moody months too), at least with respect to the weather. When I was retrieved from the airport tonight, I was told that the weather has been super lovely nice, i.e., warm, sunny, kind of Californialike, and I was also told that October climate is totally unpredictable. Case in point, it's
a quarter to four in the morning (and no, I don't know where my kids are; I am quite sure they're not even on the way), and I've been awakened by a totally fantastic thunder and lightening storm. I love thunder and lightening storms, but this is my first from the 11th floor, so that adds a tasty twist to the ozone aroma and the cracks of light against my wall. Unfortunately, the skills of this photographer pale wildly in comparison, but these are my two best attempts leaning out the window using "paisaje nocturno" and "contraluz" settings, respectively.
